CAROLINE ISSA

Tank magazine’s publisher.

" On the streets of Paris fashion week, Tank magazine’s publisher, Caroline Issa, shares her style tips and favourite shows.

What are you on the look out for here in Paris?Paris is always an inspiring week and I have been looking forward to all the big shows like Chloé, YSL and Céline, but also getting to see lots of younger labels like Dévastée, Hamilton-Paris, Uma Wang and Carven who all have a presence here.

What collections have you loved so far? I loved Lanvin and Céline as they are clothes I want to wear! And Chloé for the new direction. Unmistakably for the Chloé woman: feminine and effortless.

What is your style philosophy? I am pretty simple when it comes to dressing. I love tailoring from YSL, and have quite a few Pilati pieces. I also love a good blouse and Equipment and Hamilton-Paris are my go-tos – you can pair them with everything. When I am feeling courageous I'll put a dress on.

What are a few of your preferred labels? I do try to champion young talent and smaller labels like Duro Olowu, Ohne Titel, Erdem and Temperley. I am also newly obsessed with the jewellery of Monique Péan out of New York.

How are you surviving the heat this week in Paris? By wearing the lightest pieces from the fall collections.

What is the most exciting thing about fashion right now? All the young labels who are making clothes we want to wear. Very exciting!"   [via]
