" My name is Julia Bereciartu. I was born in San Sebastian, Spain, in 1980. Since I was a little girl my biggest love was painting and drawing, even using black markers in my mum's new couch. In 2003 I moved to Madrid, and after several years working as a graphic designer, I decided it was time to pursue my biggest childood dream. Now I work as a freelance illustrator for clients all over the world, and I'm lucky enough to say that I love what I do.

I work from my cozy home studio, with the help of my crazy orange kitten Maggie. I'm a compulsive knitter, and I love photography, specially Polaroid and medium format film.
